Alan Batt

Dr Alan Batt is an Associate Professor (adjunct) of Paramedicine at Monash University and Queen’s University, originally from Cork, Ireland, and a critical-care paramedic by background. He co-chairs a CAD$1.2 M pan-Canadian Healthcare Excellence Canada programme embedding social prescribing into paramedic services, and led development of Canada’s National Competency Framework for Paramedics. His ParaPodcast appearance ranges across Ireland, Canada, the UK and Australia.
